Michelle Obama was looking for a cause to take up because every first lady takes up a cause. Plus all these are BARACK Obama not Sasha, Malia or Michelle. Also, these were during his campaign. Not a lot of time to pick vegetables from a garden while on a 20 hr campaign day.
