Should we be more like the young man in this story?

i think people forget that this is true. people have thrown me back in the sea before and other times they left me washed up. conversely, a treatment that hs helped many, it doesnt matter to me that thousands are ok, if it leaves me washed up, im washed up at the end of the day, it is my life that is lost. even if a treatment works 99.5perc of the time, if i am one of the ones that loses his life in the .5perc do i really give a **** about the 99.5 perc it didnt happen to? no. bye.
